Permatech Acquires Tri-Weld
Permatech Inc. of 911 East Elm Street in Graham is pleased to announce the acquisition of Tri-Weld Inc. of 2801 Troxler Road in Burlington.
Permatech designs, engineers, and manufactures precision precast refractory components and equipment for the global Aluminum Casting Industry. In order to meet customer requirements, Permatech has deemed it necessary to expand its capabilities in the areas of mold and equipment fabrication. Tri-Weld’s assets and its expertise in steel fabrication will provide the necessary welders, machinists, space and equipment to meet these demands.
Tri-Weld’s fabrication capabilities will be fully integrated into Permatech’s existing business, and will operate under the name of Permatech Systems & Fabrication (PSF). Permatech also plans to fully integrate personnel according to the asset strengths of each location. Combined with Permatech’s existing staff of 100 skilled employees at its main operation in Graham and satellite location in Pennsylvania, the new combined business will employ approximately 120.
